curriculum vitae
Oleg Ustinov was born in Rostov-on-Don in 1984.
His practice explores the boundaries of the media environment and provocative interaction with it, while simultaneously developing the possibilities of painting through postdigital painting, collage and the object.
Ustinov works across painting, graphics, collage, sculpture, installations and sound experiments. Polarization of creative efforts has remained an important part of his practice since his first experiments with the TnD group in 2006.
His work has been presented in exhibitions including the 4th Moscow International Biennale for Young Art and Don't You Know Who I Am? Art After Identity Politics at M HKA in Antwerp.
From 2018 to the present, Ustinov has also been the curator of the pop-up gallery llil.space.
